Randy Marshall specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial, land, and retail property throughout Northern Colorado. Since 1982, he has represented sellers, buyers, investors, tenants, and property owners in the acquisition, sale, and leasing of commercial real estate properties. As a small business owner earlier in his career, Marshall also understands all of the rewards and challenges of business ownership and often represents small business owners in the marketing and sale of their business and property.
Prior to joining Colorado Commercial, Marshall was one of the founding partners of SVN/The Group Commercial and worked as a commercial broker associate/partner with The Group, Inc. in Fort Collins for several years.
Before moving to Colorado with his wife and two children in 1997, Marshall served as Vice President of Franchise Development and Director of Real Estate for FASTSIGNS International in Dallas, Texas. He oversaw and facilitated the strategic development of FASTSIGNS franchises across North America and Australia from 35 franchise store locations to 274 through market research, franchise sales, site selection, and lease negotiations. When his family moved to Colorado, they purchased the Fort Collins territory and owned and operated a successful FASTSIGNS store until selling it in 2003 for a significant profit. He then returned to his first love of commercial real estate.
Marshall served as Owner and President of Marshall Real Estate Company in Dallas where he worked directly with and consulted independently with franchise-oriented corporations on real estate strategy and expansion into new markets through a nationwide network of brokers. Marshall was also Vice President of Real Estate for Hurricane Enterprises, where he directed market research, site selection, and lease negotiation for a regional office supplier.
He also served as a retail leasing agent for Stone-Lewis Companies in Dallas and began his commercial real estate career at The Watson & Taylor Companies in the early 1980s as a corporate facility and property manager.
